Worshipping

We want to worship the one, true God, to glorify His great Name, & to make His praise glorious. We aim to make our worship God-focussed, public, & God-inspired:

It is God-focussed because He made everything for His glory, including ourselves.

It is public, because we want to tell others about how good He is.

It is God-inspired because He leads & guides our worship.

Discipling

Jesus calls us to be disciples, followers, apprentices, trainees & learners of His ways, & to share what we have learned with everyone, so that:

Christ is formed within us, that we become like Him as we follow Him

We are spiritually empowered as we receive power from the Holy Spirit

We learn how to live life to the full with the gifts of God & the fruits of the Holy Spirit

Missional

We do not exist for ourselves, but for God & His dream for this world. So we are a group of people called out of the world to be sent into the world with something of God's purpose.

We are called-out sent ones - called to be different from the system but sent to represent God's kingdom in the world.

Missional - demonstrating the change God has made in us by serving one another & our community.

Commissioned - to make the good news of God's plan for the world available to our own community & to participate in communicating it to other social, ethnic & national groups.

Faith

Our faith is in God, & in how He has revealed Himself through creation, through Jesus, & through the written scriptures.
